This week’s UK singles chart has just been announced and this year’s Eurovision winner ‘Euphoria’ is a new entry at number 3! As we said in previous article this makes it the most successful Eurovision winning song since Katreena & The Waves – Love Shine a Light reached number 3 in 1997. It’s the most successful non-UK Eurovision song since Jonny Logan reached number 2 in 1987 with ‘Hold Me Now’. While the general increase in digital downloading may have played a small part it is testimony to the popularity of the song and proof that Loreen deserved her 12 points from the UK. Well done Loreen!
