No Google Eurovision Predictor this year

Google’s popular Eurovision prediction tool has failed to make a return this year. The tool which aggregates Google searches to estimate the popularity of each entry correctly predicted Alexander Rybak’s victory in 2009 and Lena’s in 2010.

In 2011 it fared less well when it predicted victory for Lena or Jedward. Azerbaijan didn’t even make the top 10! Perhaps that’s why they decided to retire it.
